I try to go beyond my own scope of understanding, to explain patterns and rhythms in life that most of the time present themselves as random to us. I believe painting can sometimes be more intuitive than written language.
A collection of small insights into the gospels, and representations of the saints. Traditional subjects of Christian art reinterpreted by myself, into my own original paintings.
Asemic
Asemic writing is a wordless, open semantic form of writing that uses lines and symbols resembling writing but without any specific meaning. It's a form of visual art where the reader interprets the marks and symbols, similar to how one might interpret abstract art. The "absence of meaning" in asemic writing allows for a vacuum that the reader fills with their own interpretations.
Quiet Devotion
Mary

Pencil on paper
In Mary, quiet contemplation becomes an act of devotion. With her eyes lowered and hands gently folded in prayer, Mary is neither withdrawn nor distant, but deeply present. The simplicity of pencil on paper reflects the stillness of the moment, allowing subtle light, shadow, and form to speak with restraint. Rather than depicting a dramatic event, the drawing invites the viewer into silence, where reflection, humility, and faith are given space to unfold. It is a reminder that the deepest spiritual encounters are often found not in noise or spectacle, but in the quiet openness of the heart.
